April 16th, 2010 - 03:58
how u play
April 18th, 2010 - 22:01
With the newer version Hawkeye uploaded a while ago via Rapidshare, the campaign is SO laggy… I refuse to play it. Even in the Shooting Range everything starts to slow down after a few characters come on screen. Even turning the quality to practically nothing doesnt help.
May 1st, 2010 - 12:52

MADNESS NEXT-GEN INFO!
Many of you may have noticed that I put a huge amount of effort into the audio for Madness Next-Gen V.2. You may have noticed that for gunshots and explosions, sounds pan and fade out, depending on their position in relation to the player. I’ve taken this one step further by adding surround sound to all sound effects, including shell casings, footsteps, bullet ricochets on the floor, and whistles as bullets fly past you. Its a new feature that I hope people will enjoy, and it will be available in Madness Next-Gen V.3, when it gets released in the not too distant future.

Amazing, best mod EVER, its the only mod i havent got tired of due to no new gun sounds, just plain boring, or bad weapons.

MADNESS NEXT-GEN INFO!
Thanks to everyone who appreciates the mod so far. I’m still working on it, and I’m making great progress. I’ve just recently added some small features that hopefully improve the feel of the game. A couple of these include smoke trails for rpg’s etc., as well as swaying of the gun back and forth while the player is moving. I’ve also reworked the surround sound for weapons (not the sounds themselves), and it now has a much more atmospheric, realistic feel. Currently, I’m working on the story mode, which will include many locations throughout the world. So far I’ve included a Middle Eastern war zone, an underground bunker, and a city (unnamed so far) . Feel free to suggest any other locations you would like to see.
July 3rd, 2010 - 11:57
you should make an actual mohawk i like making my guy look like philip clyde from ARMY OF TWO and a mohawk helps or you could make an army of two outfit type thing haha
July 5th, 2010 - 01:34
I have a suggestion, why not make more slots for weapons?i mean like you can put a Shotgun in 1 slot,a MP5 in another, and maybe a slot or 2 for Grenades?
July 5th, 2010 - 15:58
That’s a very good idea! I can add extra weapon slots easily, but that can get annoying if the player has three weapons. Instead, I may add slots designated for grenades (which I plan to have multiple types of). Thanks for the great suggestion.
July 6th, 2010 - 16:27
lol thats a great idea but i think i saw something like that on another mod somewere, i cant wait for this mod i can tell its gonna be brilliant.
July 12th, 2010 - 16:23
So far, I’m very happy with the support the mod has gotten, and for those of you who want a glimpse into what the finished product of Madness Next-Gen v.3 will feel like, download the .mp3 recording of the first few levels of the story mode at:
http://rapidshare.com/files/406617605/Next-Gen_Recording_1.rar.html.
The recording demonstrates how intense the single player will be, and if you listen closely, you can try and guess some of the features/locations in the game. You should also note that the recording is 100% gameplay; I haven’t added anything that you normally wouldn’t hear while playing. The .mp3 is about ten minutes long, and I personally think that the intensity rivals even the movie: Black Hawk Down’s audio.
Enjoy!
July 13th, 2010 - 03:16
it doesn’t work for my it don’t work
July 13th, 2010 - 06:29
If the recording doesn’t work, try this link:
http://rapidshare.com/files/406717730/Next-Gen_Recording_1.zip.html
This one’s a .zip instead of .rar, so it should be more compatible. Sorry for any inconvenience.
July 13th, 2010 - 06:50
a melodi??? it still not working when i try to install it it don’t work to install it
July 13th, 2010 - 08:09
Are you right clicking and hitting extract to…? It doesn’t need to be installed, because it’s just a .mp3.
July 13th, 2010 - 08:13
what do you need a mp3 too???
July 13th, 2010 - 08:29
i am from norway what a hell do that mean i am only 12 years
July 13th, 2010 - 08:31
where shall i hitting extract to????????
July 13th, 2010 - 08:44
It doesn’t really matter where you extract to, as long as you can find the file once you’re done. If you can’t get it to work it’s not a big deal; it’s just an audio recording of some of the gameplay.
July 13th, 2010 - 08:45
how do you play the game i can’t
July 13th, 2010 - 08:57
how do you start the game and everything nothing happing with me
July 13th, 2010 - 09:03
are it not a game only a melodi i thought it was the game
July 14th, 2010 - 00:37
…=( I wish that hellawack could bring back counter-strike zombie mod….it was a great mod with for once in the world of madness mods stronger enemies and madness challenge mod (or something like that) that had multiple mini games……why were the stupid mods kept ONLY those mods made by people who didn’t have much experience (at least on how things were changed/edited)PUT ON GOOD MADNESS MODS
July 14th, 2010 - 00:39
Oh yea I forgot..Next-gen mod is a very good mod bringing like said, the new gen of madness interactive
it could lose a few things as it can lag easily and also maybe having the shotguns NOT shooting a trillion bullets in 1 shot
July 16th, 2010 - 09:35
Right now, I’m working on the lag and slow-downs that occur in the mod. The difficult thing is that the original madness interactive was built many years ago, and the more modern graphics/audio etc. are too much for the flash player that the game is intended for. Instead of running on flash player 10 like all new games, I’m forced to keep the mod on flash player 6, which is about 5 years old. Fortunately, I have found many inefficiencies in the original design and code, which I have been able to address to help make the game run faster.
**CAUTION TECHNICAL CONTENT BELOW**
In flash, there are objects called movieClips, which in madness, contain the guns, objects, and pretty much everything you see on screen. These movieClips contain the graphics for most objects in-game, and also contain the coding for them. The original design uses empty movieClips (no graphics) to serve as points where shell casings come from, as well as to determine the flight path of bullets. Although they are empty, they still use up processor power, and with several characters/guns onscreen, there can easily be 100 of these points wasting memory and speed. To fix this issue, I added the code “_visible = false” to these points, making them invisible. Although they were already invisible, the processor no longer has to focus on drawing these invisible points on the screen, just the coordinates of the points, which is much less hardware intensive. This allowed about twice as much occurring onscreen before slow-downs began.
In short, although Madness Next-Gen v.3 will have much better audio and visuals than previous versions, as well as more content, it should run much faster!

hawe do iy get zombies
July 28th, 2010 - 18:09
How the hell can I play these games fullscreen now? God I hate the new site design!
